Introduction
DHPS is vital for the first step of hypusine biosesynthesis. DHPS catalyzes the NAD-dependent transfer of the butylamine moiety of spermidine to the epsilon-amino group of a specific lysine residue of the EIF5A precursor protein to form the intermediate deoxyhypusine residue.
Description
DHPS Human Recombinant fused to 20 amino acid His Tag at N-terminal produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 389 amino acids (1-369 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 43.1 kDa.
The DHPS is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Sterile Filtered clear colorless solution.
Formulation
The DHPS solution contains 20mM Tris-HCl pH-8, 0.1M NaCl and 20% glycerol.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
