Introduction
Transcription elongation factor A protein-like 1 (TCEAL1) is a member of the transcription elongation factor A (SII)-like (TCEAL) family, which may function as nuclear phosphoproteins that modulate transcription in a promoter context-dependent manner. TCEAL1 is involved in transcriptional regulation. TCEAL1 is expressed in all tissues, especially highly expressed in the heart, ovary, prostate and skeletal muscle.
Description
TCEAL1 Human Recombinant fused with an 8 amino acid His tag at C-terminus produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 167 amino acids (1-159 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 19.7kDa.
The TCEAL1 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation
The TCEAL1 solution (1mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 2mM DTT, 20% glycerol and 0.1M NaCl.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
