Introduction
MRG-binding protein (MRGBP or C20ORF20) is a 204 amino acid protein which is a part of the NuA4 histone acetyltransferase (HAT) complex that functions to acetylate histone H2A and H4. The HAT complex may be essential for the activation of transcriptional programs linked with oncogene and proto-oncogene mediated growth induction, tumor suppressor mediated growth arrest and replicative senescence, apoptosis, and DNA repair. C20ORF20 also has a potential to interact with MORF4L1/MRG15 and MORF4L2/MRGX.
Description
C20ORF20 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 224 amino acids (1-204 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 24.5kDa (Molecular weight on SDS-PAGE will appear higher).
C20ORF20 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation
C20ORF20 protein solution (0.5mg/ml) containing 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 1mM DTT, 20% glycerol and 0.2M NaCl.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks.
Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
