GIPC2 is a 315 aa protein which is restricted to the cytoplasm and holds one PDZ domain. GIPC2 is expressed in large quantities in colon and kidney and in small quantities in ***** liver. GIPC2 has a vital part in human gastric cancer by control of growth factor signaling or cell adhesion.
Description
GIPC2 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 339 amino acids (1-315) and having a molecular mass of 36.9kDa.
GIPC2 is fused to a 24 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation
The GIPC2 solution (1mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 100mM NaCl, 1mM DTT and 30% glycerol.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
