Introduction
SHC1 is a member of the SH2 domain family. SHC1 is vital to the regulation of apoptosis and drug resistance in mammalian cells. SHC1 is a signaling adapter which links activated growth factor receptors to signaling pathway. SHC1 is found in neural stem cells but not in mature neurons.
Description
SHC1 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 494 amino acids (1-474) and having a molecular mass of 53.8 kDa.
The SHC1 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation
SHC1 protein (1mg/ml) is supplied in 20mM Tris-HCl, pH-8, 2mM DTT, 200mM NaCl, 0.1mM PMSF and 20% Glycerol.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
