For over fifty years, it has been used as a therapeutic agent for the restoration and maintenance of circulating blood volume for trauma, surgery, and burn patients. Prepared from plasma shown to be non-reactive for HbsAG, anti-HCV, anti-HBc, and negative for anti-HIV 1 & 2 by FDA-approved tests and >95 percent pure by SDS-PAGE. Add deionized water or buffer to desired volume, aliquot and freeze unused portion.
