  The qPCR Adeno-Associated Virus Titration (Titer) Kit provides a fast and simple way to perform Adeno-Associated Virus titration. This kit employs a quick DNA extraction step and determines viral DNA titer using a qPCR assay that can be completed within 2 hours. abm’s kit has demonstrated itself to be superior in both sensitivity and specificity compared to similar products on the market, while keeping non-specific background signals to a minimum.
  Viral DNA is isolated from a small aliquot of unknown samples using the Virus Lysis Buffer provided. The isolated DNA is then included in the qPCR assay with two known AAV standards to determine threshold cycle (Ct) values. A final viral titer of the unknown samples can then be determined by an AAV-titer calculation using resulting Ct values.
