  The Dual Vector format provides the Cumate Repressor (CymR) in one vector, while the inducible gene of interest resides in a separate vector. This format offers maximum flexibility in regulating gene expression and an increased insert size that can be cloned into the Cumate Inducible Cloning Vectors.
  The Cloning Vectors with 2A Mediated Reporter enable inducible gene expression when co-transfected with Cumate-pLenti-EF1α-CymR vector (cat no. iCu999). The 2A mediated reporter (GFP/RFP) will only be expressed when the cumate switch is activated, making this vector ideal in monitoring the induction efficiency. Similarly, the Cloning Vectors with Constitutive Reporter can be used in conjunction with the Cumate-pLenti-EF1α-CymR vector (cat no. iCu999) to establish an inducible system. The SV40 promoter in this type of vector drives the expression of reporter (GFP/RFP) constitutively independent of the cumate switch, making this vector suitable in monitoring transfection efficiency and facilitating stable cell line generation.
