Description	Human Holo Transferrin is a plasma-derived cell culture reagent added into growth media to propagate cells such as K562, HUT-78, RAJI, and JARKUT cells. It is an iron saturated glycoprotein found in mammalian serum. Transferrin binds to transferring receptors in proliferating cell lines, and elicits iron delivery in and out of cells.
Appearance(Form)	Homogenous, lyophilized powder.
Sterility	>98%, single homogenous batch, heat treated at 62°C ± 2°C for 10 hours and lyophilised from approximately 0.020M NH4HCO3 solution. May contain traces of buffer salts.
Storage	Store at 2-8°C. Stable for up to one (1) year following receipt if properly stored at 2-8°C. When dissolved and aseptically filtered, holo transferring is active at 2-8°C for up to 30 days if properly stored in airtight cell culture container, or up to 90 days if stored at -20°C in airtight cell culture container.
Application	Cell proliferation of K562, HUT-78, RAJI, and JARKUT cells.
