Description

Recombinant Protein G is a bacterial cell wall derived protein expressed by some members of group C and G streptococcal strains. In contrast to Protein A, Recombinant Protein G binds to a broader range of mammalian IgG subclasses - including those from human, mouse and rat species, guinea pig, rabbit, goat, cow, sheep and horse.

Applications/Features

Conjugated Recombinant Protein G is commonly used to purify IgGs from serum, hybridoma ascites, tissue culture supernatants and other biological fluids.
