Description	C2C12 Cells (YAP1-GFP11 Clone) was established through transfection of retrovirus vector to carry the eleventh β-strand of GFP fused to the c-terminus of FLAG-14-3-3 fused with YAP1. YAP1 promotes cell cycle of cells and suppresses myogenesis. It can be used as a research tool to study affects on myogenesis suppression and its effects.
Procedure Overview
Propagation	The base medium for this cell line is Prigrow III medium available from abm (TM003). To make the completed growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum (TM999) to final concentration of 10% and 1% Penicillin/Streptomycin (G255). Atmosphere: air: 95%, CO₂: 5%; Temperature: 37.0°C.
