Description
This lambda marker is suitable for sizing linear double-stranded DNA fragments in agarose. The lambda DNA is completely digested with BssT1I and yields 11 fragments in size (in bp): 19329, 7743, 6223, 4254, 3472, 2690, 1882, 1489, 925, 421, 74 (obscure band).
Storage Buffer
10mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.0) and 1mM EDTA. Store at -20°C
6X Loading Dye Solution
10mM Tris-HCI (pH 8.0), 60mM EDTA, 0.03% bromophenol blue, 0.03% xylene cyanol FF and 60% glycerol
Usage Recommendation
0.05-0.10µg of the DNA ladder per 1mm width of gel lane
